Every private itinerary we run across Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia

Ten routes, four to nineteen days long, covering single countries and full Indochina crossings alike. Each one below is a starting point — private, adjustable, and built around whichever season you land in.

How this list works

Every tour here runs privately, with no minimum group size and no set departure calendar — we schedule around the dates you give us. Lengths range from a four-day loop out of Saigon to a nineteen-day crossing linking Hanoi and Vientiane.

None of these are fixed packages. Treat each one as a draft: swap a city, extend a stop, or drop a day, and we re-cost the plan before anything is confirmed. Full day-by-day detail, what's included and what isn't, sits on each tour's own page.

Choosing by how much time you have

If a week or less is all you've got, South Vietnam Highlights and Vietnam Compact fit without feeling rushed — both stay inside one country and skip the longer transfers.

With eight to twelve days, routes like [Vietnam Culinary Journey](tours/vietnam-culinary-journey) go deeper into one country rather than skimming several, while [Mekong Delta and Temples](tours/mekong-delta-and-temples) uses that same stretch of time to cross into Cambodia instead.

Past two weeks, Best of Vietnam, Beauty of Vietnam, Grand Indochina Golf and [Discovery Indochina](tours/discovery-indochina) cover full country routes or multi-country crossings.

When to travel

November through April is the driest stretch across most of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, which is why it carries the bulk of bookings. Inside that window, Sapa and the northern hills turn cold from December to February, while central Vietnam can still see leftover rain into November.

Outside peak season, travel is still workable — expect more afternoon showers and higher humidity rather than trips being called off. Each tour page lists its own best-time notes based on the specific regions it covers.

Building something not on this list

These ten cover our most-requested routes, not the limit of what's possible. If you want a different combination of cities, a longer stay in one place, or a route none of these quite match, describe it through [contact](contact) and we'll draft something from scratch.

Frequently asked questions

Are all of these tours private?
Yes. None of them are shared coach departures — each booking gets its own guide and vehicle, and the calendar is set around your dates.
Can I combine two shorter tours into one trip?
Often, yes. Tell us which two routes interest you through [contact](contact) and we'll check where the legs join up without doubling back.
Which tour is best for a first visit to the region?
[Discovery Indochina](tours/discovery-indochina) or [Best of Vietnam](tours/best-of-vietnam) cover the most ground without over-packing the days — a reasonable place to start if you're unsure.
Do any of these suit a short trip of under a week?
Both [South Vietnam Highlights](tours/south-vietnam-highlights) at four days and [Vietnam Compact](tours/vietnam-compact) at seven are built for travellers with limited time.
What's not included in the tour price?
International flights, visas and personal spending are on you. Domestic transport, accommodation, listed meals and a private guide are built into each itinerary — the exact split is on every tour's own page.
